Not because it's unsatisfying, but you'll feel so invested into so many characters it's hard to see them go. But the makers of this series have made it palatable and entertaining. Vorenius, his best buddy, is a likable stick-in-the-mud, dull as nails but absolutely loyal.
It is a meditation on life in the most unexpected and profound ways.
Big is keeping her a 'secret,' while Miranda discovers a sex secret about her new man. Not surprisingly, the ladies have a number of beaus throughout the series' run. In an effort to get the girls together and have a fun weekend, Carrie wants everyone to spend the weekend in Atlantic City.
Oh, and then she got arrested for smoking pot. Big will never share a bed again.
I love that the show deals with things like PTSD, homosexual rights, and strong women against a historical backdrop, and that Sidney Chambers is so complex. Hannibal slowly but surely inserts himself into Will's life and career. In Bosch's world, most things are black and white.
It is intelligent, well-written, and interesting. You never know what twists and turns are around the corner , the characters are believable, and situations seem real and plausible. Overall, a great show and super easy to get addicted to!
